the one tree hill connection No. 9

First I want to say how great it is to be a new member of the Farpoint Media family. Aren’t the new diggs great? Well, this is the last super-sized episode of the summer as I go over episodes 11 and 12 of season five. Of course as all of you know, episode 12 was also the 100th episode of One Tree Hill. I am also asking for help from my listeners. I am starting a new segment next week, going over the top-10 moments of each of the core five characters. So, next week I would like to start with Lucas Scott. If you would like to submit your favorite Lucas Scott moment of the first five seasons, please email me at blueaeryn@gmail.com and inlcude your name and where you are from. Deadline is Tuesday, July 22.

And the opening song from this episode is “Sometimes Love” by my friends Lauren and Casey. I will have a more professional open to the podcast next week and we hope to feature even more songs from these two young artists.

This weeks podcast was simply great! I’m going to send you my favorite Lucas moment in email. I’m going to miss our super sized podcast. Lol, I usually download them and then listen to them on my lunch break at work or when I go on walks. I’m always so excited to hear you’re thoughts on One Tree Hill. Yeah, I agree with you on Lindsay and Lucas not having any chemistry. When they were saying, “Let’s be bad together.” It was a really awful scene, and I for sure didn’t buy it. Yeah, I didn’t understand why they made us watch those scenes. Nobody wanted to see them!!! lol I hope they deal with Rachel’s insecurities next season, because that has the potential to be a great storyline. She needs to start loving herself, and get away from drugs. I love the scene where Brooke is telling her mom she’s fired. I loved that she finally stood up to her mom like you said. She fired her as her mom (Which she really wasn’t being), and fires her as an employee. Brooke and Peyton’s friendship grew even stronger this season, but you are right after the writers strike the writers fell short after that. The whole Lindsey talking about how she could see her dad talking to Keith in heaven was really bad. It was just her trying, really badly again to force a connection that obviously isn’t there. I’m a little disappointed that they are taking that song that was in the 100th episode out. I hate when they do that for series. Music is a huge part of One Tree Hill, an taking away one of those great songs takes away from the show. Maybe it will be a good song though? A Brendan Kersh interview sounds very interesting. Anyway, another great podcast. Can’t wait until the next! 6 weeks until the premier! Yay!!!!

Hey, as usual I loved your podcast. Yes, I agree that LL scene “we can be bad together” was just AWFUL the thought of it is just horrid and they had no chemistry what so ever. They were just disater together. Anyway, I always constantly remember that scene in the 12th episode were Lucas stares and Peyton and I never hear people (LP fans) talk about that scene and I was actually starting to think I was crazy or something but then you brought it up in your podcast and I literally yelled, “I knew I wasen’t crazy!”

BTW, WOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! 6 more weeks till the New season of One Tree Hill!!!!

    LP Forever!!!!!!
