Yeah I agree with you Denise, too many screen suckers! and there were NO lucas and peyton scene! what is that! I was a little disappointed with this episode since we had such good ones in the beginning of the season. I just hope that whatever Peyton has it’s not too bad. Unless it’s a good news like her being pregnant which I hope! ANyway great podcast as usual!
i for one loved the episode! thats because i am a Brooke fan, and loved every one of her scenes.
But you had me laughing there with you scene sucker comments.
just clearing that up!
Your probably mad because there was much LP interaction, and i know thats what your all about! haha.
but anyways, it wasn’t Jack who attacked Brooke, it was Jack’s brother, didn’t quite catch his name, but it was pretty clear he was the one who murdered Q and the one who attacked Brooke. Jack asked his brother to have brooke put in her place.
i think it was Jacks brother who did it to brooke but he got him to
I was really frustrated with your review of this episode. They obviously had to hide Peyton in the episode so that they could have that cliffhanger. I actually really like that episode. It was the first time since season four, that I was genuinely shocked and excited about the episode.
Luke,
I guess you can’t please everyone. But to tell you the truth I had to do this review without much processing as I am heading out of town for the rest of the week. I am hoping to go back and do a little bit more on this episode and on the whole first 12 of the season and maybe get more insight.
Even if you guys didn’t like my review as much as others, for this week, I hope you enjoyed the interviews with Kate and Carol. Those were fun and insightful.
Keep an ear out for even more interviews in the month of December. And some special guests as well.
Yay! You had Kate Voegele on again!!!! She’s so awesome, and I’m in love with her music. She was great on OTH last night, and they gave her a really good storyline. I agree with Kate, you are the official podcast for One Tree Hill. I actually like last nights episode it brought back what One Tree Hill was missing, and brought back some great stories. Ha Ha, I smell crap. Sam is a scene sucker. lmao I like Sam now. I really didn’t care about her in the beginning, but the fact that she instantly admitted to Brooke what she did and showed remorse made me like her more. I also like the fact that she has confidence . Her confidence kind of reminds me of Brooke in that aspect. I agree with you on the Mouth, Millie, Gigi triangle…the storyline is garbage. Millicent calls mouth an idiot, but then decides to lose her virginity that she’s had for twenty- two years in like two seconds. She also completely disregarded Owen sobriety, saying he hadn’t had a drink in 8 years(or however long it was)! They really just completely trashed her character. I don’t like her anymore. She’s way too insecure. I know they finally give Peyton a bit of happiness, and they tear it away! I’m a little disappointed. Yeah, I’m kinda like Peyton too when I get stressed I get kinda bitchy.I think she really regrets what she said though, and she’ll apologize. Anyway, just thought I would share my thoughts.
By the way, I really enjoy ur podcasts. Thank you for making them!!!!
AWWW I love this podcast you made me laugh so bad Denise.
i totaly agree with you.
Last night episode was Pathetic and too much suckers scenes.
I really don’t like what they did with Owen last night.
TOO much Mouth AND WHO cares about Gigi.
the PICTURE Millie found COME ON -_- !
I love the interview with Kate Voegele.
good job once again Denise
and can’t wait for next week podcast
xxx
I absolutely loved this episode. It was perfect! I think the biggest surprise was the introduction of the ‘Daniels’ brothers. They’re obviously going to bring some drama. I think seeing as LP have had scenes together for the rest of the season, it was nice to see them separate for a little bit. Although, neither of them had much screen time this episode, I guess it’s because they had the majority of screen time in 6.11. I’m sure it will all even out in the second half of the season. Brooke/Sam/Julian is really intriguing me, and it was great to see that Julian did show his nice side when Brooke needed help. I can’t wait for Jan 5th, to find out whats up with Peyton and Sam/Brooke. I do wish they’d give Haley a more dominant storyline though, as Jamie is seeming to get more storylines than Haley now!
Thanks SO much for interviewing Kate again! I absolutely love her and your interview was so great and in-depth; I love it!
Denise, I was laughing so hard at your 612 review. I’m usually not too hard on episodes either, but seriously, this week was just bad. I’m hoping last night was the low point of the season, and that it’ll get better. I think it will, but you never know.
Hey D-
Loved the episode, I am always fond of a rant. Now screen suckage was at a premium this episode and I share your frustration. There was some really nice work from Sophia and James in amongst the crap that was a useless talent show and a bajillion uninteresting subplots.
My biggest disappointment was in Owen. I feel the writers are making him completely disjointed and inconsistant. Drinking again? Deflowering a virgin? C’mon!
Millie deserved to be uber-pissed off with the worthless Mouth but no one who has retained their virginity that long would dismiss it so easily. It is also potentially hurtful to their friend, Brooke. Hos before Bro’s and all that.
Sigh.
The interviews were great by the way. I particularly enjoyed the Carol interview and loved that you took the time to talk about each of the characters.
I happen to think Julian is awesome and love the idea of him and Brooke. Nathan lost all his bad boy and its nice to have a hot bad boy with a heart back one the show. As a fan of Dawsons Creek how cool was he? I like that because this is all make believe we aren’t tied down by rules of the real world and can keep them around a bit.
