Hi. I love your podcast. they are great. I hope you can interview with Sophia Bush and James Lafferty.

  2. Alyssa Says:

My favorite Deb Scott moment has got to be all the scenes when Dan is running for mayor and using Deb to “make him look good”. I during “A Multitude of Casualities” when Deb acts drunk and is smoking to ruin Dan’s PR for him campaign. “It’s noon somewhere, right?”

I love, love, love the podcast. Keep up the great work Denise. My favorite Deb Scott moment is a tie. One of them is definitely when Nathan walks in and catches her flashing her webcam. That has got to be an embarrassing for anyone but especially when it is your mom. Yikes! My other favorite Deb Scott scene has to be Jamie’s birthday party in season five. She basically ordered the clown for herself and then she comes out of the room with clown make up all over her and does not even make excuses. She does what she wants and doesn’t have to answer to anyone. Go Deb!

  4. Jolien Says:

I liked the scene in 4×21 where Nathan & Haley left the party because Deb wasn’t picking up the phone or her cell and that they find Deb with a sleeping Jamie! It’s the ‘crazy obsessive parent’ scene!

My favorite Deb Scott moment? Two come to mind. Season one: where she tells Dan he needs to get out of the house or she “will stab him in his sleep” – he wasn’t even listening to her side, but that made him take notice. And season 4: when she and Lucas are in the hospital and she says she knows he shot the wall next to Dan and takes the gun back. A glimmer of responsible parenting when he needed it because Karen was in the coma.

  6. Julia Says:

My favorite Deb moment would have to be in season 5 when she knocked Nanny Carrie out with the wine bottle. It was such a dramatic end to the Nanny Carrie story line. I hope Deb comes back on One Tree Hill soon. I miss her.

  7. Kelsey Says:

My favorite Deb Scott line is when she says to Dan, “Or so help me I will stab you in your sleep.” I love it when Deb gets angry.

  8. Allison Says:

My favorite Deb Scott moment is when Nathan is trying to convince Haley to go to the senior party in the last episode of the fourth season. Haley asks Nathan who would watch the baby, and Deb goes “cue the crazy grandmother”. And then the rest of her lines in that scene and the one later with Jamie are funny. Like, when she says how Nathan called six times and then “you called eight” to Haley. And when she says “bring me back some drugs” to Haley and Nathan, then “isn’t Grandma funny?” to baby Jamie. Just the way those lines were said made it my favorite Deb Scott moment.

  9. Whitney Wilson Says:

My favorite Deb Scott moment is by far when Deb wakes up in Rehab and tries to escape one night b climbing out the window and the nurse comes out and tells her that she is there voluntarily so she can just check herself out….haha!!! That was the greatest reaction ever on TV she gave that nurse when she told her that. I love your podcast by the way…you are awesome.

  10. Kaitlin Says:

I have to start off by saying that I have always felt that Deb is incredibly underrated on the show and that she was the perfect gal to battle all that is Dan Scott. That being said, my favorite Deb moment is in the season 3 finale (The Show Must Go On), when she tells Dan that not only does he not have control over her anymore, but she’s the one that tried to kill him. In that moment she severs any ties she had to Dan and for the first time in 3 seasons becomes a free, independent woman.

  11. JaclyneJaye Says:

That was an awesome podcast! Love her, shes very funny, and very good speaker, lots to say! Favorite Deb Scott moment…hm, ‘Cue the crazy grandmother’ was a great one, so was the Nanny Carrie bottle smack!
But I think also 307 ‘you’re going to be indepenant’ was a great moment, when her and Karen are together at Dan’s billboard, it was a funny momeny, but I also think it really showed a lot about Deb’s character, how she really loathes Dan, and can side with Karen, but yet has an obligation to be there for him. Drawing on Dan was an escape from him and should how she really felt, but then the ladder fell and really she was stuck. being stuck on the billboard with no way down, like she was stuck in her life with Dan. But with her strength, and crazy mind, she gets through it. I also think this scene between Karen and Deb mirrors Lucas and Nathans relationship with Dan, and each other.

  12. Patricia Says:

there are so many deb moments. but i love in season two when she comes into tric and makes all the girls dance to the citizen cope song.

  13. Laura Says:

I LOVE all the Deb/Dan moments, especially in seasons 1-3. Barbara and Paul have such great chemistry; it’s always great to watch when they have scenes together. My most memorable Deb moments are the when she buys Tim at the boy toy auction and Dan walks in on them, the prank wars between Deb and Dan in season 3 when he is running for mayor, and when Deb and Karen are painting the road sign of Dan.

  14. Tiffany S. Says:

My favorite Deb moment is when she is talking to Nathan about being in the bathroom for hours and telling him she knew what he was doing in there! That was so hilarious because well everyone knows what’s going on in the bathroom with a young boy like that. HAHA!!

  15. Keith Says:

First off, awesome podcast!! Deb has always been one of my favorite adult characters!! To end all this discussion on the best Deb scene it has to be in season 1 after the boy toy auction. She bids on Tim, who of course thinks it’s going to be “fun” night with Deb. When he walks into the bathroom with his pants off and she rushes him out. Then the moment of truth: the priceless expression on her face while is down helping him pull his pants up and Dan walks in. Definitely the funniest Deb Scott moment!!

  16. Pauline Says:

To begin I love your podcasts
i have so many favorite deb moment but if i have to choose only one, i would say that it’s when Deb wakes up in Rehabilitation and tries to escape and the nurse comes out and tells her that she is there because she wanted to so she can leave when she want lol
    so funny

  17. Cody Says:

My favorite Deb moment is when she is in Karen’s Cafe and drops her purse and the gun accidently goes off and she says “oops”.

  18. Anna C Says:

First of all, it was incredibly hard to pick one moment because deb is very diverse, could you have believed the blonde haired business lady would have ended up assaulting customers and bringing a gun to karens cafe. But i get it, people change, especially when losing hope and faith in people and feeling alone in the world. From feeling confident and good at what you do (work as deb said in first season), to leaving your husband and your kid leaving you leaving you with a drug addiction. When you feel you have nobody it can drive you crazy.

I was looking through quotes of Deb and one thing i love about Deb is how strong she is, especially against Dan and sarcastic at the same time (barbara showing her comedy talent)

So here is the quote I picked.

DEB: No, I was delusional: loving you, thinking you’d change. But I’ve got clarity now Danny-boy, and I finally see you for the pathetic, broken man you are. Lemonade?

I really enjoy your podcasts so keep up the good work and i loved how honest and down to earth Barbara was, it didnt feel like an interview but just talking to a friend.

  19. Jennifer Says:

I love Barbara, she plays Deb perfectly. I think Deb is a much more layered character than she’s given credit for.
Anyways, my favorite Deb Scott moment is when she gives Nathan money to go visit Haley after Keith’s wedding. At first Deb didn’t approve of their marriage but she realized she was wrong and gave Nathan the encouragement he needed to know that he was fighting for something real, someone he loved.
