I don’t think it should come as a surprise that out of the main 5 cast members she’s the only one who’s ever done an actual podcast. She was the most dedicated and accessible of all of them. You never get the impression that she’s above it all. Hilarie is truly the embodiment of modesty, of class and grace. I’m proud to be a fan and I hope nothing but the best for her and Southern Gothic.

Wow! That’s the word-is it really a word?- that comes to my mind when I try to describe this podcast! I laught a lot, smiles, was kind of nostalgic sometimes, even startle! This podcast brings me through a lot of feeling but for the good only!

What a great interview, Denise! Hilarie is awesome and I have loved watching her in the role of Peyton–she really knew how to bring the character to life and bring out her best qualities. I love how she kept bringing up Chad and how much she enjoyed working with him and how much she loves him. Both actors and characters will truly be missed by the fans next season. It sounds as if Hilarie is well on her way to a new facet of her career. She is so positive and humble which I’m sure will serve her well throughout her career.

Is Hilarie’s accent that strong on the show??? I loved it.. I always had this random question in my head.. If the show takes place in the south, where are the accents??? And why is Hilarie’s not as strong? Wow, that has nothing to do with anything.
I have to say, this was a really cool interview. Hilarie, you’re so awesome. I wish I had become a fan of the show before this year so, I could have come down to Wilmington to see the show filmed and maybe have screamed like a 13 year old (I won’t admit my age) fan girl when you walked by. haha. When the pilot episode first aired, I was 15 years old and I’m 21 now. In a slightly bizarre way, I really do feel like I’ve grown up with the Peyton character, and with you as well. Thanks for being a part of something that got me through some tough times early on and that has brought me great friends.

Thank you Hilarie for making Peyton relatable all these years. You brought such an inner strength. I lost my mother and recognized many of the emotions as Peyton lost not one, but two moms. I enjoyed Lucas and Peyton, but I also loved the special relationship Peyton had with Brooke, whether they were getting along or not! (or needed a Psycho to reunite them!) Best of luck to you.

Sure it might sound crazy but you have really took a toll in my life . I really miss you on OTH these days . It’s just not as great as t use to be without you and Chad on it anymore .
