Great podcast! Did you notice the Sixers song they used last night? Denise, aren’t you a SK & The Sixers fan? Maybe I made that up, but when I heard it last night I was thinking “Hey it’s the Sixer’s, podcaster Denise will probably love that.” And then I wondered if maybe you introduced Lindsay to the band. I know they were played last season, “Hearts in Pain” is one of my all time favorite songs, even before it was on OTH. But anyways, if I totally made it up that you are a big fan then totally disregard this comment.
Yes Maggie I am. As you notice their song “4th of July” opens every podcast. Actually, SK and the Sixers were introduced to Mark Schwahn when they were touring with Kate Voegele. But, yeah, Lindsay and I chatted about them before they were on season six of One Tree Hill.
On a side note, the band will be opening the Southern Gothic Productions Podcast, for Hilarie Burton’s company, on Wed. with the song A (with love).
Yeah I did notice “4th of July” as your opening and actually the first time I heard your podcast I heard that song and instantly knew I would love this podcast. I started it and turned to my sister and was like, “Wha?? Is that? Holy Cow! I love this song!” So glad to hear that they will be on the next SoGoPro podcast, will definitely listen out for it tomorrow. Thanks for the bit about how they were introduced to Mark…that’s interesting. Although I thought it would have been really cool if you actually played a part in that. I really look forward to your next podcast. These things are always so interesting. I can’t wait to see what Lindsay has to say about the Noisettes and then you’re gonna have Josh on too, it’s like Christmas morning!!
Lindsay has done such a great job throughout the seasons with the music. I cannot sing her praises high enough.
