The One Tree Hill Podcast has two special announcements. First, the site is excited to bring an exclusive interview with One Tree Hill star Austin Nichols, who plays Julian Baker, for the December 8 episode. Also, One Tree Hill’s official website, www.OTHpodcast.com, was recently re-launched and is streaming the One Tree Hill Podcast, as its official podcast.
Nichols was introduced to the One Tree Hill fan base as Julian Baker in the eighth episode of season six last year. Nichols’ character was brought on board to cause a stir between the show’s couple Lucas Scott and Peyton Sawyer, but Julian was soon linked romantically with the Brooke Davis character.
Austin admitted he was unsure when he was asked to be brought on board the show full-time.
“I wasn’t sure what to think when One Tree Hill creator Mark Schwahn asked me to come on full-time,” Nichols admitted. “I didn’t know about the time commitment. But I am glad I decided to stay, I have learned so much here.”
Nichols talks about his role of Julian in the seventh season of One Tree Hill and also about working with newcomer Jana Kramer as well as Sophia Bush. He also gives a sneak peek into the short film he has been shooting with Maria Bello.
