An “Artist Alley” segment with Trent Dabbs opens the podcast, as he talks about his new album and his two songs in this week’s epsiode – “Same Way Twice” and “Look Back On.” To close out the podcast, Denise and Stephanie are back to review this week’s episode “At the Bottom of Everything.”

Awesome podcast once again Denise!! Very happy to have ur review back as well!! BTW The other thing u were right about was Sarah being a ghost!! I definitely think the same thing bout the whole Julian/Brooke/Alex thing. Julian def did not hook up with Alex, and Brooke of course is jumping to conclusions. I did not think about Dan being Victoria’s lover, but that would be awesome! I’m very excited for Mouth n Lauren, cuz im just done with Mili. This was one of my fav eps of this season, i enjoyed the last 2 minutes a lot, feel like it set up some new stuff. Season is turning out great, and I’m excited for future eps.

Oh and the review. My favorite part!!Hate mail…what?? Boo for those shallow people. You are very much so entitled to your opinion. That’s why I love it. I don’t have to agree, though sometimes I do, but that’s what makes it great!
Yeah, the whole Brulian thing will be a big misunderstanding. I think Julian just let Alex sleep in his room so she could get a good nights sleep.
Oh Denise…Haley will never be able to live down anything right? And I’m not saying that in a way as if to “yell” at you. I agree. Haley did give Peyton lip about going after Lucas, but I think all that crap had to do with avoiding confrontation. I don’t think Haley likes it. She had do deal with it when she left the tour and then returned, so I think she had valid points but it just came across kind of bitchy.
To go along with not mentioning L/P, I think that’s a tricky situation. On one hand if you mention them too much it would be like a slap in the face…just rubbing it in our faces that they are gone. But on the other, leaving them out of everything makes it seem like the relationships that are and were at the heart of the show weren’t important. Obviously season 7 has taken the second option and it has played out poorly.
Nah…I think Dan is done with the Tree Hill for a while. I think it’s Alexander. I mean Victoria hired him so I wonder what her motives were?!?! Probably so she could have a younger lover, haha.
I really do hope that there is a season 8, because…I just can’t see a good solid finale given that there are only 5 episodes left. I think for the fans who have been with it since the beginning (well the Naley and Brooke fans at least) will want to get some closure. I’m sure people want a Brooke wedding and she should get it. I mean Haley’s had two weddings, Peyton had hers, so for Brooke fans (and I’m not even a Brooke fan) a wedding would probably be what they want to see. Naley…well Nathan has talked about a little girl just like Haley, so I imagine them having another baby by the end. But we’ll see.
The podcast was awesome as always, way better than studying for a political science test!
So I was listening to the podcast this morning at work, and really wanted to throw some notions out there. Then I remembered this site, and thought perfect, I can leave some comments. So first off, I was really happy that you guys did a review again. The interviews are amazing, dont get me wrong, but I do like the discussion of the eps as well. I was really surprised that you didnt pick up on this, since you remember everything’
: Im pretty sure that Julian was not even in the room w/ Alex. Remember earlier in the season when Millie went to get her, thinking she was in the shower, and Alex said she left it on during the night to help her sleep or whatever. So Im definitely thinking he was not there at all. Once again, Brooke’s jumping to conclusions (although it seems pretty founded this time, unlike a lot of other times). Also, I was surprised that neither you nor Stephanie have mentioned Deb’s absence. Where the hell has she been? She has not been mentioned really at all this season, so Im a little confused about where she is. That is all! Ive been listening to the podcast for a long time, keep up the good work!

glad to hear a review again…however i dont understand how you dont care about alex (who is basically a main character this season) yet you guys are allll about Miranda and Grubbs. I love Mike Grubbs and WakeyWakey but ugh they are the most pointless characters and should not have a storyline…definition of scene suckers lol
