I would be the best choice to drink with Grubbs because:
1) I would dazzle him all night with my limerick capabilities
2) I am a musician so we could jam or karaoke to the song of his liking
3) I would come ready and armed with many a variety of drinking games
4) I could braid his beard. Because after all, you haven’t lived until you’ve had your beard braided by some random drinking buddy!
5) I can throw a mean tomato and would be an excellent partner in a tomato fight

Seriously, I need to be drinkin’ with Grubbs, because without new episodes of One Tree Hill until 4/26, my Monday nights are not only filled with free time galore, but are depressing to boot. Drowning my sorrows with One Tree Hill’s most talented and hilarious new character would definitely ease the pain.

I love myself a good drink and I love to sing! So Grubbs, if you’re reading this, let’s knock back a few, grab a mic and take on the world!!!

I know some of you may not like my comments on the review. In fact, I have read outright hate mail to me. Sometimes my views are personal, sometimes I am just playing devil’s advocate to move the review and podcast along.

But in the end, this One Tree Hill Podcast is mine. It is my blood, it is my sweat, it is my tears. I started this podcast in May, 2008 because I wanted need a place for my voice and feelings on the show.

The small podcast morphed into something a lot different then I imagined. It has been an amazing whirlwind, and I have gotten to fulfill many goals through this podcast. And I will forever be grateful for those who gave me a chance to spread my wings.

I have weathered reading people saying they hate me. Saying they dislike me. Even someone emailing me and saying that I needed to be fired from this podcast. MY PODCAST!!!

I worked my tail off to build a bond and a trust with the producers, crew and actors of One Tree Hill. They know whatever my opinions in a review. I respect them for what they do every day.

I have made friends, contacts and many great memories through my meetings and contacts with all of them. And even those who follow this podcast.

I remember almost a year ago, my main goal for this podcast was to gain an interview with Hilarie Burton. Not only did I achieve that goal, but now have had the chance to do so much more with her, her company and her partners Kelly Tenney and Nick Gray.

So, each week, for the last 94 weeks I have put out a new episode of this podcast. In a few weeks, I will post my 100th podcast. So, I throw this challenge out to all of those who say negative things or send me hate mail. When you have posted 94 podcasts or more, have hustled for the almost 100 cast, crew and artists interviews I have posted on this podcast, then come back to me.

To all of you who always give me good criticism and kind words, I think you for supporting this podcast and One Tree Hill itself.

But enough with my opinion. Thanks so much for the interview!

Oh and I’m glad you will be reviewing the latest episode next week, those are my favorite!! And ah, yay, a Naley sided perspective . I’m in that ship and will be interested to see what you all have to say. But…I do still love you and Stephanie as a duo and love listening to y’alls reviews!

I’m shocked the season 6 finale is the favorite episode of you too though. I mean don’t get me wrong I am a Leytoner all the way and I know how great it was they got their happy ending but this was no way near the best episode in my opinion. I actually disliked most of season 6. Its funny that the two seasons where Leyton were togehter are my two least favorite seasons. The episodes just werent up to par with the rest of the seasons IMO!

Oh and the review. My favorite part!!Hate mail…what?? Boo for those shallow people. You are very much so entitled to your opinion. That’s why I love it. I don’t have to agree, though sometimes I do, but that’s what makes it great!

Yeah, the whole Brulian thing will be a big misunderstanding. I think Julian just let Alex sleep in his room so she could get a good nights sleep.

Oh Denise…Haley will never be able to live down anything right? And I’m not saying that in a way as if to “yell” at you. I agree. Haley did give Peyton lip about going after Lucas, but I think all that crap had to do with avoiding confrontation. I don’t think Haley likes it. She had do deal with it when she left the tour and then returned, so I think she had valid points but it just came across kind of bitchy.

To go along with not mentioning L/P, I think that’s a tricky situation. On one hand if you mention them too much it would be like a slap in the face…just rubbing it in our faces that they are gone. But on the other, leaving them out of everything makes it seem like the relationships that are and were at the heart of the show weren’t important. Obviously season 7 has taken the second option and it has played out poorly.

Nah…I think Dan is done with the Tree Hill for a while. I think it’s Alexander. I mean Victoria hired him so I wonder what her motives were?!?! Probably so she could have a younger lover, haha.

I really do hope that there is a season 8, because…I just can’t see a good solid finale given that there are only 5 episodes left. I think for the fans who have been with it since the beginning (well the Naley and Brooke fans at least) will want to get some closure. I’m sure people want a Brooke wedding and she should get it. I mean Haley’s had two weddings, Peyton had hers, so for Brooke fans (and I’m not even a Brooke fan) a wedding would probably be what they want to see. Naley…well Nathan has talked about a little girl just like Haley, so I imagine them having another baby by the end. But we’ll see.

The podcast was awesome as always, way better than studying for a political science test!

Also, I just upped the amount of podcasts you can see on iTunes so that might help as well.

I recently subscribed to this podcast on itunes and on the Hilarie podcast you mentioned that Lindsay Wolfington chose songs that fit every character however the podcasts dont go back that far on itunes or on here….would you be able to repost it? id love to hear it!

My favorite part of the interview was probably near the end when she was talking about the friendship she and Amber have…how she knows there is never anything Amber will do that will destroy it…and how the music is a by-product of their friendship. I’m not sure if that is an exact quote or not, but I think its the gist of what was being said. It’s pretty amazing to have a friendship like that.

Bess had so much wisdom in her, i wanted to hear more of her views on things. what got me the most from this interview is that part when she said: “Being a mother, you can only be as happy as your unhappiest child” that is some quote right there
